About Me

Bayu Wibowo is a passionate Network Virtualisation and IT Professional whose innovation, problem-solving aptitude, dedication, and multifaceted expertise have all earned him the reputation as a forerunner in the service-centred information technology space. Over the course of a decade, he has garnered extensive hands-on experience in his field. A wizard at all things VMware, his skills have extended to designing, deploying large scale VMware-based private and public cloud platforms, and some of the largest VMware NSX installs in APJ. He has consistently imparted the knowledge he has acquired for the greater good of his community. To date, he has received numerous awards for his continual success and community involvement, including but not limited to Cisco Champion, VMware vExpert NSX, and VMTN Community Warrior (https://blogs.vmware.com/vmtn/2017/06/community-warrior-bayupw.html).


Currently, Bayu serves as a Network Virtualisation Consultant at Datacom, an IT services company, where he strategizes and implements an array of cutting-edge technologies from VMware NSX and Cisco ACI to Open Networking, SD-WAN, and automation solutions. He is also a User Moderator for VMware Technology Network (VMTN). Prior to his present ventures, he held various leadership roles for renowned IT companies like Cisco Systems, Dimension Data, and VMware, among others. In addition, he is certified in VCIX6-NV, VCIX6-DCV, ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP), Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate.
